Thank you, Elise, for sending this crazy mansard from your Pacific NW vacation.  Based on Elise's vacation pictures of flowers, mountains, rivers, lakes and food/beer, I think I need to make this trip.   Sadly, I'm almost 50 and never been to Washington state.

Holly Hills

A mansard topped home in St. Louis Holly Hills (*how could I have thought this was St. Louis Hills v. Holly Hills?  have I lost my mind??) as seen while I was running kids to volleyball camp.  It's been a weird summer for kids.  Almost all the camps canceled but I have to say the camps that have been open are definitely well organized and socially distant.  It's good training for these kids before they head back to school - wearing masks, staying 6 feet apart, answering screening questions before they enter campus, having temps taken.

Following up on our fire-damaged Granite City apartment building, here is a mansard roofed home with hail damage on the roof.  At least the roof is flat!
